We encourage all students at St Gerard's to become involved and contribute positively to our school community.
One aspect of being involved is to lead.
We model, nurture and develop strong, effective leadership daily and provide both formal and informal opportunities for our students to lead.
This maybe through classroom roles, organising an activity, assiting with a class or school initiatives, presenting at our Whole School Assemblies and developing others.

Student Representative Council (SRC)
Each class elects 2 representatives for each Semester. These representatives meet regularly with our Wellbeing Leader to present the views and opinions of students, provide feedback and contribute to the planning of school events. They then report back to their class to inform them of what has been presented and discussed at these meetings.
Year 6 Leadership Roles and Responsibilities:
When students reach Year 6, it is important that they become responsible members of our school community setting the example to others. At St Gerard's we provide opportunities for them to develop these vital skills.
