At St Gerard’s Catholic Parish Primary School we believe that the Catholic faith and its traditions are central to the purpose of our school and is an essential part of the formation of the whole person. Religious Education permeates through all facets of school life, connecting the ordinary to the spiritual by teaching our students to interpret our world within the context of the Gospel values. We acknowledge and celebrate the Spirit at work, inviting relationship with God and a Christ-like stance towards others.

Implementation:

St Gerard’s staff build on the experiences of each child and teach through a contemporary curriculum, which is a significant part of our Inquiry Units and are relevant to the St Gerard’s School Community. It aims to help children grow in their relationship with God and supports the family as the primary educators in faith.
